ಸೇನಾನಿ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಥಾಮ್ ಸನ್, ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ನಂತರ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ,
ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿ ತಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಯಾವ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೋ ಆ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲು ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಗು ತೂರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಜಗಜ್ಜಾಹೀರು.

ನಂದನ ನಿಲೇಕಣಿಯವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ "ಭಾರತದ ಬಡಜನತೆ ಒಂದು ಮೂಲ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವುವಾಗ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೋರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ". ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೇಗೆ ನೆರವೇರುವುದು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಇದುವರೆವಿಗೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಸಂಸತ್ ಸಮಿತಿಯು(parliamentary standing committee) ಈ ಚೀಟಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಗುರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ, ತನ್ನ ಉದ್ದೇಶದ ಬಗೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಸ್ಕೀಮು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿರುವುದು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವು ಊಹಾಪೋಹಗಳು ಏಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿಷಿಷ್ಟ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿಯು ಒಂದು ಸ್ವ-ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಎಂದು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರೂ, ನಂದನ ನಿಲೇಕಣಿಯವರು ಇದು ಸರ್ವ-ವ್ಯಾಪಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಚೀಚೆಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು ಈ ಚೀಟಿಯುನ್ನು ಕಡ್ದಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಫರ್ಮಾನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿವೆ. ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಥಾಮಸ್ ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಒಂದು ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಇವರು ಇತರೇ 14  ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದು ಒಂದು ಹಾಸ್ಯಾಸ್ಪದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ. ಇದು ಸರ್ಕಾರೀ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಮಾರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಹಣ ಗಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಜನತೆಯ ಹಣವನ್ನೇ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿರುವುದು ಒಂದು ಘೋರ ಅಪರಾಧ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಿವರಗಳು ಕಾಳಸಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ನಂಬಲು ಒಂದು ಕಾರಣವೆಂದರೆ, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಸಂಶಯಾಸ್ಪದ ಕಂಪೆನಿ, "L1 ಐ.ಡಿ.ಸಲೂಷನ್ಸ್". ಎರಡು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಲೀನಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಈ ಕಂಪನಿಯನ್ನು ಅಸ್ಥಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಈ ಮೊದಲು US Securities and Exchange Commission ರಿಂದ ಕೆಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ, L1 ID ಸಲೂಷನ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ವಿದೇಶಿ ಗೂಢಚಾರ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಥಾಮಸ್ ರವರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದ RTI ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಉತ್ತರ "ಅದೊಂದು ಮರ್ಮ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ"

ಮೈಕ್ರೋಪ್ರೊಸಸರ್ ಅಧಾರಿತ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಸಾಧನವನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ನಿಪುಣ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಈ ಚೀಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವ ಯಂತ್ರದ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವನ್ನು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು. ಒಂದು ಫೆವಿಕಾಲ್ ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆರಳಚ್ಚು  ಮೂಡಿಸಿ, ಯಂತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿ, ಆ ಯಂತ್ರವು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆರಳು ಎಂದೇ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಮೂರ್ಖತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಡಿದ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕು, ATM  ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಂಚಿಸಬಹುದು.

Godhra Verdict Does Not Justify Gujarat Riots: Moily

Referring to the Judgement given by the special court, The Union Law Minister has said "The Gujarat court's judgement in the Godhra case does not justify the riots that followed the train burning incident"

The court has acknowledged that the Burning of the Karsevaks was a pre-planned act, where as the riots disrespect to the Indian judiciary. Moily has to be produced in court for contempt.

Why does not Moily show the Unity in the democratic country, India, by saying, "Judgment should give a stern warning to those who are planning to cause disharmony".

Burning the innocent Karsevaks was an insane act. Unfortunately, the law minister does not acknowledge it. But by saying that the court verdict is not justified, Moily is justifying the act of burning the Karsevaks. He should be punished for hurting the sentiments of the family members of the bereaved Karsevaks.

The same Moily had once said referring to the verdict on Ayodhya verdict, "The Verdict does not justify the demolition". Then what is the law saying ? The law minister has learnt to say something else that the courts'  verdicts. Hope in future, he understands the ground realities and works for united India. Or else he should remove his pseudo-secular face and join some communal violence group.

P Chidambaram : Failiing Consitantly : New Venture

 P Chidambaram, popularly called as Chidu since his Finance ministry days is Venturing out for a New Failure.

I am amazed by his his enthusiasm even after the series of consistent failures to continue in the central ministry. I am surprised by his loyalty to the cogress party and Mrs. Sonia, which is keeping in the post for such a long time. Just quote his few recent failures :

1. He took over as the Home Ministry after the 26/9 Mumbai attacks. Did nothing but spending money on the lone surviving terrorist's interrogation. Now the Interrogation is complete, the court has given the verdict and the clemency plea is pending with Mrs. Prathibha Patil for rubber stamp approval.
2. During the UPA2 tenure, Chidu bravely shouted to Naxalites, saying if they dont drop the Guns, he is not going to discuss with them. Later he said, the time has not come to talk to Naxalites and he will tighten the nuts and bolts of the Naxalites. Later 74 Jawans paid for the utter arrogance of Chidu by sacrificing their life.Then Chidu realized that he can do nothing but keeping mum. He later passed on the buck to the State Governments saying "It is the duty of the State Governments to tackle the Naxalism". It is the central government and the utterances of words by people like chidu, which rakes up the Naxalites and then they say, the State govts should tackle the issue. What a Shame!!!
3. Chidu went on to Pakistan, thinking that he can do much more than Anyone else in the history including the Vajapayee-Musharraff's Agra Visit, but he was welcomed by the Pakistan govt with the inverted Indian Flag. He made no statements to condemn the error which happened unintentionally or otherwise. 
4. Chidu's extra long sleep has made the intruders come to Jammu and Kashmir, and start a proxy war against India. It is also the soft corner of the Central government which is keeping the Intruders alive in the valley. Now Chidu is venturing to Valley region saying, he is the super man, who can solve this issue. I am sure, he is bound to fail. His acts will only worsen the issues at hand. I think this time he will say, "It is the duty of the J&K people to protect themselves" and return to his cave.

Shankar Bidari Tries to break the Ice

"Bangalore Police" have once again cracked the Mistery behind the Murder case of the city. The Shankar Bidari team I would call it, have brought out the murderer of Priyanka Gupta. The police are doing wonderful job consistently for a while now, have brought the law-and-order problem of the State to an acceptably better condition than the Dharam-Singh and Kumara swamy governments.

I would like to salute the police team for their sincere and self-less efforts. I agree there would be some wrong men in the khakhi, but, as a whole, I think it is time to appreciate them. They have solved the case immediately leaving no room for the culprit to escape or allow him to destroy the evidence. Sathishkumar Gupta is behind bars now.

Bidari stands out in handling the case in his own way, though I am opposed to his way of making press conference by himself, and not allowing any other officer to speak whenever they unearth the case, I am much impressed by his way of addressing the cases. He is really concentrating on solving the core issues than opposed to the much hyped Sangliana way of execution.

He had held a conference a week before also urging the couples not to resort to getting the partner eliminated in case of misunderstandings or if they are not interested in the relationship any more. This has much of relevant at these times, looking at the increasing crimes where it could have been avoided. I stand by him in saying there are better ways to live on the earth.

TEACHER COMMITS SUICIDE

A News from the Times of India dated : 1st AUG 2010:
 
"TEACHER COMMITS SUICIDE Kanyakumari, 30, a government high school teacher who failed to get a transfer to Bangalore, committed suicide on Thursday night by consuming poison in her Hulimavu house. Four years ago, she’d married Jnaneshwar, an engineer with HAL. They lived in Vysya Bank Colony and the couple have an 18-month-old child. She’d been trying to get a transfer to Bangalore for the past year but in vain and she was depressed. "

The incident is a mirror to  our bureaucracy. We do not need any other evidences about the height of corruption by our government servants. Can these Babus bring back the life of Kanyakumari ? This poor lady, with lots of hopes, dreams about future, joined Govt services only to be victimized by the same Govt officials. The situation is so pathetic and is a coward behavior of corrupt officials. I think this is what meant by "Fish-Eats-Fish". The corrupt people eat the lives and flesh of honest public, no matter if it is of male-female, black-white, brahmin or a dalit. It is interesting to note that the Lady is from Hassan, home district of Former prime minister HD Devegowda. The Ex-PM is busy with other NICEr activities. Is he listening to the woos of public of his constituency ?


It is a shame on the govt. and elected people. Can the Lokayukta initiate an Inquiry voluntarily into the incident and bring those thick skinned animals behind bars !!! "May the teacher's soul rest in peace"

The Hon'ble Governor Hamsaraj Bharadwaj, has been very active governor of India. He is doing his best to put pressure on the state government to act lawfully and curb corruption.

It is notable that he has put his strong words when there were attacks on churches. He has also acted tough during flood, during Santosh hedge's resignation.and other such incidents. ಇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗೂಂಡಾಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು [ ಗೂಂಡಾರಾಜ್ ] ತುಂಬಾ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

But, it is unfortunate to note that the Hon'ble governer has not acted much to get the relief from the center government for the Flood victims. He has also not acted / said even a single statement when the State congress units mis-used the funds collected from public for Flood relief activities.
He has gone an extra mile to protect the natural resources from the mining mafia by issuing the notices to B company owners. Later, when it didn't work, he sent notices to Election commission. The same governor has done nothing to stop the illegal mining done till now when other parties were in power.
It will be fair if the governor doesn't act as an Agent of Central govt. He should also not try to mis-use the innocence and politeness of Yeddi, the first time CM. The governor's language resembles that of an ordinary police constable "ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪರಿಸ್ತಿತಿ ಹೇಗಿತ್ತು? ಈಗ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ? " Hope out governor matures soon.

Idiotic Behavior of Political Leaders

This is the photo of our Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah, a.k.a Siddu, best known for his economic view and policies. He is also best known as a leader of backward classes.He has worked as Finance Minister, as well as deputy CM in the govt of Karnataka under at various times.

Siddu is also known for his Idiotic behavior and misfortunes. The photo shows his adventure on 8th JULY in Bangalore during his protests against the ruling BJP government.

Protest is well accepted as long as he does in a safe manner, safe for himself and others. This guy went on to climb a bus en-route to his destination, and as-usual fell on the roof slipping on the stairs.

If we go back in history, the same person had caused accident and two people were injured one losing his leg, during inauguration of some govt work in Chamarajanagar constituency, by climbing onto a parked JCB.
He has then slammed the site engineers "ಈ ಎಂಜಿನೀರುಗಳೀಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಬದನೆಕಾಯಿ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು, ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ದಿ ಇರೋಲ್ಲ" . Who had asked this Siddu, to climb the JCB for Inauguration of a work ? Who had asked him ti start the ignition, and later to move the levers of the JCB. Is he an engineer ? does he have the driver's license ? What does he know about the Engineers ? By the way does he know ABCD of Engineering ?

It is the height of his I think he should put an end to his Idiotic behavior.
